You have a reason for being where you are right now, and you’re not wrong. It may make no sense, it may be really uncomfortable, it may be a polar opposite to where you actually want to be. The point is, it’s where you are at NOW. In this moment.
If you can be where you’re at, without judging yourself or being in resistance, you may even actually start to enjoy the journey. Even if it’s just not the thing you wanted or had imagined for yourself, you are in it. Rather than becoming a victim of circumstance or bemoaning your fate, notice the part you played in arriving where you are now. You might be trying to learn something, clear something out of your way.
Your body is always in the present moment, but your energy can be in many places at once. At those times when you feel a bit stuck, you have a great opportunity to sit and ask yourself some direct questions. As in “what part did I play in getting myself into this place?” and “what can I do to get to where I want to be?”. With questions like these, you are taking direct responsibility for your own creations, and looking for your answers.
If you persist in blaming outside influences for your current reality, you will not find your own power in the situation. Being a victim will get you nowhere. You will not find your answers, only perhaps a few nice people willing to validate your victimhood and try to heal you.
However, if you can be here now, and let go of the need to blame yourself or another, you open yourself to spirit. This is where the game changes, where your answers begin to come, where new inventions and delightful creations exist.
