Choices are made, energy is set that steers the course of the day. You have many different opportunities throughout each day to create, in each moment, wellness and health. Choice of outlook, attitude, actions are all important.
It’s kind of a bumpy ride right now, for many people. You will find this reflected everywhere you go. It’s not the time to isolate yourself, or stay inside and hide. It is the time to get out and say hello to others, see what’s going on. Shake it up, do something new, get a new outlook. See something colorful and pretty, hear new music, experience the pulse of life going on all around.
It’s good to regularly find new ways to recharge your batteries, to do things you might not usually do: go for a hike in the rain, or sit very still in a cafe without the need to do anything except observe life all around you. Consciously notice, and try to be present for every little thing, without judging, or needing to take action.
You may notice a couple of things right away. First of all, how very difficult it can be to be, to not do a thing. Hopefully you will also notice your body more, your senses, and the amazing dance of life all around. Simply by practicing being present in the middle of activity, you will have an effect on your surroundings. See if you notice others doing the same.
