Your own truth is far more interesting

…and a lot easier to live with than anyone else’s truth in your space.

Once you get to know and love yourself, you won’t ever believe any lies you’ve heard about how you should be instead of how you already are.

Once you begin to see how much there really is to you, you’ll stop thinking you’re small and insignificant.

Once you listen to your heart, it’s difficult to drown it out with ‘shoulds’ and ‘can’ts’ and ‘musts’. The music of your heart will begin to play louder than anyone else’s marching orders.

Once you learn how easy it can be to create a healthy relationship with yourself, you’ll never settle for unhealthy relationships again. You’ll create the kinds of relationships you want with others, because now you know how you want to be treated.

One effect of this is that you’ll become an undesirable energy for those who would control you with invalidation. Invalidation simply won’t stick very well anymore. The invalidaters will have to go away.

Once you change the rules of the game you’re playing, or better yet – make sure it’s your game to begin with, there will be less stress in your life and less blocks in your way.

Once you become conscious about what you’ve agreed to be, do, or have, it gets easier for you to create the agreements that actually work in your favor, instead of against you.

When you decide to make your own truth more important, you are committing a courageous act. There has never been a better time to be in this place, looking for what is sincere, real, and honest for you. If your truth is inconvenient for others, that is their problem, not yours.

Your life’s work is to find out who you are and become that. Nobody else can be you, but you. The gifts you bring are not going to get here by any other means, but through you.
